BE. BOLD.

"Therefore do not throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.  For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised"
~Hebrews 10:35-36

to my team:
you work so hard for something.
for weeks
months
years
all for one moment.
"one shot, one opportunity
...will you capture it, or let it slip?"
Let's  capture it.
State is in 2 weeks.
We have worked so hard, to a point of insanity even,
given up countless parties, football games, drinks, sweets, unhealthy foods, hours of sleep, opportunities, adventures, and even relationships for this.
We have fought our bodies every step of the way, nursed them through injury and weakness and pains of every sort. Defied odds and proved doctors/parents/critics wrong.
How many hours have we spent laboring at practices or stretching or icing or doing core or studying nutrition or agonizing over being stronger and faster and more powerful mentally and physically than the competition?
too many to give up now.
This is when it matters most.
The time has "come to be counted. "
I intend to sacrifice everything I have to exceed expectations because this is a precious "gift" I've been given and I don't want to waste it. Will you?
All or nothing.
We've given a lot; in 2 weeks, it'll be time to give all.

The time that matters most is now- the hour is nearly upon us; we can see the final stretch.
We just can't lose sight of that light at the end of the tunnel .
Two more weeks of work await us, so let's be BOLD and have the ENDURANCE to keep going, keep DESIRING to improve to achieve that final promise of VICTORY. We cannot lose faith. WE cannot begin to doubt ourselves when we've already come so far.
Think about the absolutely best race you've ever run. The best work out you've ever had.
Make every day THAT level of best.
GIVE THE BEST YOU'VE GOT EVERY DAY, because now is when it matters most.

"Champions are not necessarily the best at what they do. They are the ones who persevere and work hardest when it is time to be counted"

It's up to each of us, every single one of us, to make the difference.
It could come down to 1 point. 1 second of a difference.
YOU BE THAT ONE.
Be the one to step up and make the most of everything you've worked up.
If you're negative on yourself during the race and JUST ONE time you have the guts to tell yourself NO. I AM STRONG. I WILL NOT QUIT then that 1 time could make a difference in your whole race.
Each of us is a necessary member of this team. We cannot succeed as parts, but only as a whole.

“I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everthing, but still I can do something; I will not refuse to do something I can do.”
― Edward Everett Hale

If we each give something, together we will have everything.
2 weeks. What will you do about it?
